Hard Lines Coffee at Mettricks

Our mission here at Mettricks is bringing better coffee to Southampton and we are excited to have guest coffee on our retail shelves from Hard Lines!

Hard Lines, based in Cardiff select and roast sustainable coffee with a focus on its origin. We are big fans here at Mettricks and we have selected three of their roasts which are available to purchase from our coffee houses.


The Kuli Gap has notes of Pina Colada with a fruity and boozy acidity, perfect with Summer just around the corner!

Origin: Papua New Guinea

Producer: Paul Pora

Region: Kuli Gap, Western Highland

Variety: Typica, Arusha, Bourbon

Process: Natural

Altitude: 1600-1900 MASL


The washed El Carmen from Columbia has tasting notes of Brown Sugar and Cherry.

Origin: Columbia

Producer: El Carmen

Region: Pitalito, Hualia

Variety: Catrua, Castillo

Process: Washed

Altitude: 1400-2100 MASL


Another Columbian Roast, the Los Cristales is fully washed with tasting notes of Strawberry Pavlova.

Origin: Columbia

Producer: Dagoberto Rodriguez

Region: Planadas, Tolimo

Variety: 75% Castillo, 25% Columbia

Process: Fully Washed

Altitude: 1500-1800 MASL

All three roasts are available from the retail shelves at both Mettricks Guildhall and Woolston Waterside and we can even grind the beans for you in store for your preferred home brewing method.
